AIRPORT ACTIVATIONS

Barclays and American airlines found our spin wheel activation of 2021 (see below) so engaging and successful, ERXM creatively designed and fabricated an airport terminal-ready version of the classic The Price Is Right game ‘Plinko.’

Guests passing through the Miami and Charlotte airports registered and were able to drop their player chip into the game, ‘Passenger Plinko’, winning a guaranteed prize. These prizes included free AA miles, tablets, keychains, travel bags, in-flight Wi-Fi vouchers, and wireless headphones. AA flight attendants were on hand to encourage new cardholder acquisitions and provide an exclusive gift to existing cardholders.

The first iteration of The Flight is Right, our activations took place simultaneously at both MIA/DFW airports to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of AAdvantage. Additionally, the timing was right to create a fun and positive experience for travelers during the COVID travel rebound. ERXM conceptualized, designed and executed a ‘spin’ off the equally iconic and retro-cool gameshow the ‘Price Is Right.’ Our team negotiated the licensing agreement, fabricated, and staffed the simultaneous activation. American Airlines and Barclays were so excited about the program, they asked us to staff with their flight attendants… which provides an authentic and exciting twist to the program.
